Unprecedented Acts of Hospitality. What does it mean? How do we do it? Phil Maynard, author of Shift 2.0, writes that we love because we have been loved. We welcome others because we have been welcomed. We want others to discover grace because we have learned about the transforming power of God’s love and grace. Reflect on what brought you to First Newton. How were you welcomed? How do we welcome guests visiting the church today? What gifts do you have that you can share to make others feel truly welcomed into our church family?
