Free laundry and the love of Christ
The old saying is that cleanliness is next to Godliness. We all feel a bit more human, like who God created us to be, when we are clean and feel good about our appearance. It is that motivation along with building relationships with people in the community that inspired our Loads of Love program. On the second Tuesday of every other month , we go to the Family Coin Laundry on 12th St in Newton and pay for everyone's loads of laundry, both washing and drying. While sharing that financial generosity, we also tell folks how much God loves them. It is a simple gift with a simple message.
