I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Youth Ministry at First UMC Newton is vital to the life of our church family. As our young people are growing into who God has created them to be, we’re committed to surrounding them with a community of love, acceptance, and support. Our prayer is that students in grades 6th-12th come to know just how big the love of Christ is for them so that they might share it with the world. As we pursue our mission of “Loving all people into relationship with Jesus Christ,” we’re seeking to nurture the seeds of faith that will take root and grow beyond high school graduation. With spiritual formation, Christ-like service, and joy-filled fun, Youth Ministry at First UMC Newton is equipping students for Christ to dwell in their hearts through faith.
