Praise Worship 4272025
This week in worship, we begin a new sermon series titled, "Revelations". The 50 day season of Easter brings with it a focus on the resurrection and new life in Christ. The power of the risen Christ to defeat sin and death and make all things new are central to what it means to be Easter people. One of the ways the wider Church celebrates this power is by focusing on two different books of scripture that aren’t usually included in the lectionary (the three year rotation of scriptures): Acts and Revelation. The book of Revelation is one of the most beautiful, misunderstood, and powerful books in the entire Bible. While we strive to live out a resurrection faith, join us for the next 6 weeks as we blow the trumpets, open the seals and worship the Lamb.
This week we will look at the origin of the book and its setting in both history and the present and what it means to worship the Alpha and the Omega.
